Perched high in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Ellie and Max were married at a private residence surrounded by rolling green acreage and sunlit mountain air. The day was warm and clear, the kind of spring afternoon that feels timeless, where everything slows to make space for love and quiet faith.
The ceremony took place in the backyard, overlooking the landscape that had been the backdrop to so many family memories. It was an intimate celebration, centred on their devotion to God and the family they have built together. As they exchanged vows, they paused to share a quiet moment of prayer with their children, a gesture that filled the gathering with warmth and reverence.
Ellie wore a long-sleeved gown that was both sleek and chic, perfectly mirroring her understated grace. Her hair and make-up were simple and elegant, allowing her natural beauty to take centre stage. Max looked classic in a clean black tux, the sharp tailoring complementing Ellie’s effortless sophistication.
Every detail of the day carried the imprint of family. Ellie’s relatives styled the space and baked the wedding cake, while the night before, she and her loved ones sat together crafting bouquets by hand. Later, after the formalities faded, Ellie slipped into her Crocs and joined Max and their children for games of pool and air hockey before gathering around a campfire to roast marshmallows.
It was a day defined not by grandeur but by intimacy and connection. A celebration of faith, love, and the gentle joy of being together, high in the mountains under a spring sky.
This was a hybrid wedding (both digital & film are mixed into this gallery).
