Sophie & Haydn have been together for almost 10 years. Once I met these two at their engagement shoot, their love for each other was TOTALLY FREAKIN OBVIOUS! Haydn is such a kind, laid back and relaxed guy. While Sophie gives MAJOR golden retriever energy, she's an absolute ball of sunshine.

They planned for a bit of a smaller wedding, but they just couldn't narrow down the guest list of all their favourite people. The weather at the start of the day was looking a little worse for wear. Sophie had buried 3 sausages and paid an Etsy witch to try to scare away the rain. The sky held back until the end of their first look portraits. We ran inside the Chapel to seek shelter and found the most beautiful pocket of light. It was in this moment some of the most romantic portraits took place. This moment felt incredibly intimate, just Sophie & Haydn in the place they were about to get married. Just before guests arrived, they snuck off to the bridal suite to spend some last moments together.

Even though they had a first look the ceremony was absolutely full of tears. And just as they finished signing the papers, the skies relented and out came the sun. Just in time for them to ring the chapel bell and run outside to be showered in petals!

They spent most of cocktail hour mingling with everyone and enjoying margaritas with live music. During their wedding party photos we blasted some of their favourite songs from Hamilton the musical. Once the sun set we head inside to get all cozy. The reception was lit with fairy lights and candles (umm how romantic!). Once speeches was over they skipped the traditional cake cutting and first dance and went straight into boogying with everyone on the dance floor.
